Title: how do i calibrate my TDS meter?

 Batteries came out when i was fiddling with meter and now it wont switch on how do i calibrate it?  ???

Check to see if there is a small hole with 'reset' beside it - if you have, you need to push a small round pin or similar in.  Do this carefully and you should feel a small button activate.

Once you have it working, I believe you can purchase calibrating fluid to re-set if required.

didnt want to go sticking a biro in there and mess it up so found a  small pin, click and it came on! result
