Title: window cleaning warehouse backpack problem
Post by: Milltown Cleaning on July 21, 2010, 09:17:13 am
hey, a friend of mine bought a backpack from WCW. He hasn't used it 5 times yet the pressure switch on the pump has broke twice. The first time WCW sent us a pressure switch. But now it has happened again we don't know what to do! I will ring WCW and see what they say.

i was just wondering has anyone else had any problems with the backpack?

are you using a tap on your pole with the backpack ? if so and the tap aint fully open it will break  the pressure switch .

i know it came with a microbore tap, im not sure if he used it or not. Surely that is the point of a pressure switch, to allow you to use a tap or trigger so it will cut the motor out when the pressure builds up. Is it just that the components aren't up to the job?

if the tap aint fully openend up the pump will keep starting and stoping and damage the pressure switch .

I have a microbore tap on my WCW backpack, never had a problem. the switch kicks in when the pressure builds up.
