Is there a gadget that i can test my leisure battery with................ ie tell me how much charge its got left in it?
Cheers

Some garages do a free battery check - but they would be biassed I would imagine.
-
Maplins do a guage which shows how much charge is left in them but I cant find the link on their site, but its there somewhere

Cheers chaps..what I mean is..Im charging my battery every night, but a guy on here says he only charges his battery once a week, but I dont want to risk going flat half way thro a day!
So what Im after is something that will tell me "your battery has 30% left" ..you know an idiot proof type of thing!!

i want "your battery has 10 houses left"

dont get them they cost you money and are a pain in the backside, have one on my transit and the thing used to do it all the time. 2 houses left "controller says NO!!!"
-
my pure freedom controller tells me how much charge the battery has left by pressing a few buttons.
i do leave it on "float "charge at night in the flat.keeps it topped up and stops it getting nicked out of the van!! ;) ;D ;D

i used to be in the caravan business and these are the same batteries i used might be worth looking on the net at camping shops or ebay i used to fit these little guages in camper conversions but the best one ive had is a proper battery discharge tester metal box with dial on it and 2 croc clips, conect to battery and it will tell you if its good to go, you can also do a discharge test to check the cells are ok and if you connect it to your charger it will tell you if thats up to the job,
Cost about £30.00 screwfix
