Diane,

I don't want to look like I'm jumping on the band wagon as it were but I have read this thread and I find myself in the same situation as Barbara.

We have just taken on 2 members of staff ( our first 2) and would really appreciate a look at your check list and training plan.

We are based in Worcestershire so hopefully far enough away from you in Yorkshire.

Many thanks

Hi all

Happy to send docs but it would save me a bit of time if you would just contact me via my website then I can just forward the emails easier.  Please include a website address and contact details for your business as I don't want to send to either competitors or anyone in an area we're about to move into.

Cheers

Your sarcasm is an interesting response Neil, but the checklist is task oriented and nothing to do with equipment as the original request was for help with staff training.

I have also shared our equipment lists on here quite openly as I share most things but our checklists and training manuals have taken me hours to complete so I won't be sharing them with anyone nearby.

Cheers

Hi Di,

Fair play to you guys for sharing all of your hints and tips, in what is typically a cut throat business. Does anyone know if the RIATA rope access course is worth doing. I want to go into abseiling, its the only thing I do not do. I would need to come over to the U.K though. There is a place in London and Sheffield i've learned. Anyone else thinking og getting into the rope access window cleaning, is it big in the U.K. Theres a famine of work in Dublin at the mo.
