Why??? U after commercial work or domestic?as ur domestic won't care if ur a member or if ur a member to some satanic cult as long as ur doing a gud job at a reasonable price,so unless ur going to chase commercial I wouldn't bother joining anything keep ur money in ur pocket.

Its all in peoples opinions at the end of the day your domestic custys in genral couldn't care less if ur a member of any fedarations satanic cults or masonic lodges sorry but that's a fact, however if your moving into commercial yes it might b a good idea as its all based on how your business looks again that's a fact and no I am not fed bashing as each to there own,but the guy asked for opinions and he's entitled to both sides

No, it’s more about the perception others will assume.

People on here, surely must be aware of the image window cleaners have, there’s no point in moaning or complaining about it if you do nothing to help your own profession.

If you’re not part of the solution, you’re a part of the problem. Just being a member of your own trade organisation cost little and takes no effort.

Unless you can think of another way to change the perception of window cleaners, for less than £2 a week.

The FWC have been around a long time.

They were around when this public perception was taking place.

Why did they not help then ?

I have got about 6 certs which combined together gives me enough ammo to be able to satisfy the requirements of any building owner, i see the FWC as a big part of that.

Its not just the certs it is Staff training , the right insurance the right H&S qualifications etc.

Add it all together and it makes you a powerful force.

Remember to charge a premium now you’re a FWC member these types of customer very rarely choose the services of a window cleaner on price alone.

You can now double your prices.
