Ok so i am trying to figure out how much money i am going to need for a fully fitted wfp van system including poles brushes, everything i need to clean windows.
I have been looking at this system what does everyone think? http://www.pure2o.co.uk/400di.html as far as i know i only need DI as i am in Cornwall (soft water) i found this one as they offer fitting in my town.
Is the price about right for fully fitted?
how does it work exactly? you fill tank, water goes through DI is that the blue bottle and is it full of small filtering grit/beads? how often do you change this etc.
If anyone can give me a bit of an incite into how exactly the system works and how i would set it up/use it thanks.
Also once i had this if this was the one i was going for what else would i need? poles etc any chance someone could link to ALL the other things i would need to have a fully working system?
I would very much appreciate this so i know exactly what price i am looking at.
This is what i think i need so far: (please tell me if i would be better off with a different product or you know a better cheaper alternative)
400 Litre DI Only System £2,884 (including VAT & Fitting) http://www.pure2o.co.uk/400di.html
Unger Hi-Flo Advanced Glass 24ft £141.00 http://www.windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk/shop/unger-hiflo-advanced/unger-hi-flo-advance-glass-24ft.html
Reel with Microbore Hose + Microbore Fitting £139 http://www.windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk/shop/reel-with-microbore-hose-+-microbore-fitting.html
Protecta-Kote Van Bedliner Black 1 litre £14.50 http://www.windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk/shop/protecta-kote-van-liner/protecta-kote-van-bedliner-black.html?keyword=protect
Now i am not sure what else i need fittings etc please advise.
Thanks in advance this forum is great!

Sorry it will mostly be residential

No Gavin, I'm sorry as I was taking the p :o
You seem to have done your research on what you need to clean windows and I wondered if you had researched the market?
There are many complete systems on ebay because people bought into the idea of window cleaning, but for then decided they could not make it pay or simply did not like the work.

I found these fittings http://www.cleantech.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=44&products_id=90 has anyone used these are they secure and any good?
I am thinking of using these fittings and the diy system above what do you think?

hey gavin. in the first link that comes with a RO system if your water is soft then phone them and get a diy system for di only, but really the best thing to do is buy a tds meter and check how high the water ppm is then you can decide what you require.
but yes that kit in that link is all you require to get started although you may look at bigger poles ect
I have never seen the stuff in the second link so couldnt comment.
www.window-tools.com do custom made frames for most sizes of tank although lots just use heavy duty ratchet straps
