Yep me too in Oxfordshire. Gutted as my van broke down last tuesday. I had to wait a week for a part to come into Renault then a day to fit it so just picked van up this morning. Forecast to rain tomorrow too. I can work on mon and tues next week but then off to Italy til the end of the month.
Will be so far behind!!!

Sunshine and showers here. Did a nice fascia clean first thing, so going to have a lazy day ;D
-
Me too. Raining here in Bishop auckland.
-
Yeh, rained off. It looks nice out there now, but it'll be chucking down again in ten minutes.
I think I'll go and abuse myself!
Bored!
-
i only stop for heavy rain heavy snow and heavy wind oh and for days when it doesnt get above freezing which is rare!
-
I carried on, but I had some huge velux windows to do and they were the first I'd done. Every time I turned them back, the water poured down leaving runs. :-[

Always an option, but you can't do that for 8 hours, can you?!

-

-
no rain in sunny sussex, just a hurricane with trees coming down wheelies bins flying threw the air etc, lucky for me no three story jobs today although doing first floor was bad enough
-
Although not working yet i was wondering how many would still be cleaning today. this was one thing that worried me about starting up, can you still get a regular income in winter when it generally rains most of the time?
-

The sad answer is that some carry on regardless, and annoy their customers, but the rest of stop work and pray for sunshine.

why would it annoy customers doing there windows surely its better than having to call them and say sorry cant do them today because of whether be round when the weather eases off.

There was only the odd light shower here but it was pretty windy. I had mostly commercial bits and pieces to do today anyway plus an inside clean.
-
did 2 conny roof cleans and a shop canopy.a church and a one off clean who asked me to clean her windows as a one off when I was cleaning the church. So had a very good day. 8)

;) nice one
-
Heavy rain in Kent a.m - worked through it with all customer's approvals. My customers know my work is guaranteed and that I will come back if job not satifactory. Don't mind getting wet in the summer.
Had one mighty gust of wind and heard stuff flying everywhere - it had also picked up the rain and it was like buckets being emptied - all over in seconds but caused a bit of 'excitement' ;D
-
stop whining about rain. ::)
for gods sake , people are dying all over the world.
-
it was showery/windy here, i used my heavier ladder but didnt enjoy my day
quit early after a job where a scaffolder monkey was throwing down his bits n pieces farther along the street.its the one thing that gives me the jitters when up my ladder ,the noise of clanging metal
-

I'm writing today off; but I had a good Mon to Wed, so I'm not overly bothered. I'll catch up next week.
-
I work in light rain/showers/looking like rain or a monsson and tell all customers this. If they are not happy with any of the windows I will go back and reclean. As yet no one has took the pee. First for everything I suppose./
-
but your not working today though jonathan!! ;) ;D ;D ;D
i do work in the rain if its the odd shower or light rain but when its bouncing down and very strong winds then i give it a miss!!
there is no way i would turn up to some of my big posh country houses and start cleaning in the pouring rain! i have though for my lower priced scrag end work if im well behind!!
weather should ease this afternoon and hopefully ill get the big jobs done.if its still blowing a gale ill try again tommorrow.if still bad then monday morning!! ::) ;D ;D
