anyone notice when you go back a month later they look like it is covered in a greenish algae colour, i only see this on sky light windows

yes and they are actually harder to clean because the water doesnt run off like on a normal window so the lads are right charging more for them
jouk i bet you get this more or north facing skylights/ velux

i think it is stu, but it does not look nice at all,
-
no jo it doesnt i nearly lost a few jobs until someone mentioned they looked bad and as i was charging extra for them they should be done correctly. and i realised a little more effort was needed, but yes they still go greenish after a month

DITTO ;o)
-
Yes. It is extra income without extra expense and helps pay for the kit that bit quicker.
-
When quoting I will include them in the price as an addition.
-
yes do the velux windows as well and charge £1.50 per velux.
-
always, if i can reach,
they get dirtier faster than 'normal' windows. i find they need a bit more of a scrub than you think. £1 per velux big or small
