I want to get on the commercial ladder , but am not sure how to price , here is a pic , what i want is your thoughts and a break down of the pricing , as i dont want to be doing it for too little , as i first did with residential .
-
£20 just got it chears mate ;D ;D
-
I am novice here too but to get the ball rolling - is it the same no of windows at the back and any on the sides? - and in/outs or just outs?
-
Hi , all i basically want is a price for just what you can see , outside only .
Cheers Rich P @ F

30 quid off a pole
-
I would say £25 easy,Gaz. ;)
-
so what you are saying is about £1.50 a window or there abouts ?
Rich P @ F
-
wouldn touch it for much less than £100
-
£30 for 20 mins ???
remember there is only 1 pane in each window.
£100 dreaming ???
-
30 quid for cleaning the frames which won't have ever been done properly and then the glass - it's a bargain :)

got a few jobs like this charging 80 upwards had them for few years got them cause i had a pole system and the last wc didnt, doin them trad used to charge 80 so i just said i will do them and charge the same.

hi there,
you need to decide what you value your time and effort to be worth.
if you are looking to sign a monthly contract with your clients then you may decide to go in at a better price.
the question is how much do you want to, or need to earn?
this will then form a basis for your pricing.
you need to charge as much as you can to win the job,
regards
martin

So its £30 or £80 ;D
If you are happy with your income from domesitc price it the same way.
Just add a bit for the height. Forget the pole just price the job. The fact you have invested in a pole is not the point. You will do the job faster and safer with the pole but the punter wants his windows cleaned. Price too high and someone else will undercut you.

i do half a days work fo £80 . i would quote £20-£25 for that and have it done in less than 30 min . then that would be a good job even at 40 mins if you are slow
-
Hi Everyone,
P@F, I would charge £39 for the front of that building, not a panny more or less.
Andrew

andrew
how would you work that out
dave
-
I would hazard a guess at:
£2 a window for ground
£2.15 for 1st
£2.30 for 2nd
=£38.70 so call it 39 quid for good measure.
-
£30 - half an hour with wfp.

I'm going in at £79.00 just to beat you Dan ;D ;D ;D,
then I'll sub it out to you :P - speak soon mate
-
i would go 70 p ground
£1.00 first £2.00second
-
Dave, sounds very cheap.
I'm new to window cleaning but have been carpet cleaning for over a year now. I have found that if you price jobs cheep you will be working non stop. But if you have a higher price you work half the time for the same money. Hence gives you more time for your marketing to get thouse better payed jobs and also more beer time!

So from those replies i take it that £30-£40 is where i should be looking .
Cheers chaps , at least now i have a clue
