I cleaned a few cars with pure waters on the weekends but I had a few people on the windows cleaning fourm telling me cars and pure waters do not mix which I use to cleaned windows with.
it dont ruined the paint work does it? because I cleaned my car and family cars loads of time and not has any problem at all

How do you think it may ruin paintwork ? Do these customers keep their cars indoors during rain ? Pure water will disolve some polishes but I don't see water ruining paint as high end dealers use pur water to rinse cars off

That what I thought.......so if you go to the windows cleaning issues and look at my thread I cleaned 10 cars yesterday with my WFP.....people on there saying pure water will ruined the paint work but I don't see how??
So what you are saying the pure water wont ruin the paintwork but disolve polishes but it is safe to use to clean anyway ???

I don't know if they still do but Halfords used to sell pure water car cleaning kits.

I have been using pure water to clean my van and car for the last 4 years. normally on a Friday afternoon if there is some left in the tank ;D
There has been no detrimental effects at all.
