Title: Jerry cans
Post by: Simon Carter on September 03, 2005, 06:55:26 pm
Anyone know where to buy smaller than the usual 25 litre jerry cans at a reasonale price?. I think 15 would be ideal. I have a lady who works for me. She's ok with all aspects of the job, but does struggle with 25 litres.
My business is mostly residential & I'm still trying to establish the best kit combination for anyone working out of most cars. 150 litres will do for up to £100 per day, so all but the smallest cars are up to the job on that basis. I then send my operatives out with a Williamson Back Pack £135.00 + VAT & an 18 foot pole from Cleantech. This combination will account for all windows on 98% of houses. The only thing I would change now is the Jerry Cans I'm supplying. Most of my operatives are guys, but even they don't need to struggle just to be macho. Smaller cans, especially ones that stack neartly in the vehicle would be another step forward.
If anyone has a better idea, or what they consider to be a better set up for houses that is as simple, I'd like to know about it.
