Hi all,
I'm back in the office, and I have come home to a complete nightmare.Don't know if it worth taking any time off again.LOL!!!
Still poorly family has to come first!
Hope everyone is busy and biz is booming.
Thank goodness that the kids are back to school om Tuesday, back to some sort of routine again.
Lisa123, glad to see that things are looking up for you, and do agree what Jan says about looking into legal and other things first. I made a simlar mistake, you must cover yourself to the hilt,I'm luicky my sister in law works for the inland rev and is a manager of a team that montior employers to see if they are "doing the biz correctly".She did most of that for me!!,but you could be stung further down the line for something that that you haven't realised you overlooked etc..!!
Jan, hope biz is good for you, and I'm sure you understand the back to school statement.Nightmare when you are trying to talk to a client on the phone.I seem to get"Mummy can I have this"all the time.I came home to find that my hubby had scratched the car! >:( >:( :o :o
Anyway, of to do an assessment.
Glad to be back , in some sort of ways!!
Have a good week all, and keep smiling!!!
Love Denisexx

Hi Denise!
Hope your hol went ok, and dad is bearing up!
Yes back to school can't come soon enough for me, although I had 3 kid/partner free days last week and had planned on catching up on paperwork etc. But instead found myself spending the whole time ironing..........that side of business is picking up really fast and is pretty much overhead free and most profitable for me...........kills my back after 7 - 8 hours of ironing, but I can live with that and will sit down to do it if necessary!
Cleaning side of things is picking up again at a steady rate and I am getting more and more referrals from exisitng customers. Trouble is, like you, I have no staff to do the work, but as they are happy to wait I shall be taking another posters advise and visit local shops/newsagents putting up Cleaners wanted ads, and also contact local parish councillers to see bout ads in the newsletters!
Might also be the way for you to go to.............well good luck getting back into the swing of it and keep us all posted on how you're getting on
Cheers!
Jan
