Hi,
Just scouring through the latest post as you do, for a bit more knowledge,
and it got me thinking, there can be a lot of complications with wfp systems, hence so many questions.......
so what did you chat about in window cleaning issues when you all had a bucket and a squeegee,
?
i suppose there were the usual round building question but i cant think of anything else lol.
i started trad nearly 4 years ago, then after a year went wfp. and the knowledge i gained from this site (you guys) was fantastic.....
and i asked every question going..... so for newbies its great wether trad or wfp....
but what did you pros talk about?
worn rubbers, chipped buckets, smelly soapy water >> > ;D ;D
??
-
what colour is your bucket
how much does everyone earn
how do you get commercial work
whos got the best ladders
when will WFP be invented
-
how often do you wash you scrims/microfibres?
bent channel? or knackered rubber?
scraping help!!!
trad pole?techniques for a good finish!
ladderstopper? which one?
help with dodging washing lines with ladders in hand!
squeegee techniques!fanning or straight pulls??
are chamois leathers worth the money?
do you carry sand around for filling holes in lawns in custys gardens?
ladder slipped an inch today!poop myself!
-
i like hearing ladder stories .
-
Whose got the biggest squeegy; Squeaky always claimed to have for some reason (his insecurities probably).
-
Is ther an easier/safer way to clean windows :D
-
;)

Heres what my line always looked like ::)
And the missus always complained about leaving herr pegs out :'((http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj186/zwizard1/utf-8BSU1HMDAxMTktMjAxMDA2MTctMTkxM.jpg)
Ah the good old days ;D
-
Oh the memories lol
The winters were great lol I can remember going to fetch the scrims in off the line and they were like cardboard.
;D ;D ;D

I remember talking on here to Tosh about whether he should go for a welsh girl or a lady-boy.
The conclusion was, that there wasn't much difference.
-
Half wont answere cause half the wfp are afraid of height and worked in factorys
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

There was a lot of talk about which rubbers were best and how often you changed them. Some people were still using shammy and that was discussed. Personally, I still regret the passing of shammy, it was much better and some of you trad guys could do yourselves a favour by getting one.
Talk about which ladders were best and good places to buy them.
Oh yes, and who had fallen of their ladders that week and when they would out of hospital.
-
Hmm mucho bullpoop.
When did this forum start?
When did broadband become widely available?
At what point (year) did wfp become mainstream?
Was there a need for this forum pre wfp considering the drivers were suppliers and DIY?
