They didnt give a toss about the previous 13 years of none claiming,

It all comes down to a bad six weeks and then back to square one as if im a 19 year old convicted drink driver who runs people over for fun.

2 crashes in 13 years (1 of them wasnt even me) and youve had it :'( :'( :'(

I've just received our renewal and its gone up from £40 per month to £72!!!
Like you Darren, we have the same van and had no claims or accidents in the last 12 months.
with the fact we have received more no claims surely that should bring down the price of insurance not increase it by more than 75%

Insurance companies are a law unto themselves. FACT!!

We've shopped around most of the day today and all the insurance companies have hiked the cost of insurance.

i,m with a plan , and my mthly payments have gone up , they use a finance company , to finance my insurance, who in turn wanted to charge interest at £12.00 per £100 of cover , the interest alone was over £100 , so i phoned and payed insurance in full .

Had mine through the other day , was with CVD , it went from £500 to £700 , i was not having this so rang to complain , somehow a different company answered the phone , it turns out they are a sister company of CVD , anyway ran it  past them and they did it for me for £400 , how can this be do able if they deal with exactly the same companies ?

Both my vans are now with them , OBIS , One business insurance solutions .

change your insurance every year!!as they always give you a good deal first year and then try and sting ya second year!

and always pay the money at once instead of instalments it works out cheaper.

im with autonet insurance at the moment £252 third party fire and theft!! ;) ;D ;D
