HI Everyone,
I thought it was about time I asked for some advise!!!
I have a problem which I would appreciate some help on.
A local sports club has asked me to clean their windows. However, these are not normal windows!!!! They are shatter proof Perspex/ plastic. To make matters worse, they have all been egged and I believe this happened a good while ago.
I have to clean them with my wfp, but I know this will not remove the egg (already tried), what can I put on the windows to shift this. ????
Many Thanks
Andrew

Unless anyones got any better ideas... Strap a scraper blade to your pole.
Not conventional, but if it works by hand why not? ???

HI Squeeky
Already thought of that, however, to much risk involved, the perspex/ plastic will scrath more easily than a window.
Thanks Anyway

But be exceptionally careful, cuz a metal blade will mark perspex. Charge enough!

even scrim will scratch old perspex .
try something like fairy power spray or vinegar . just guessing though.
;D

hhhmmm i have heard through the "grape vine" ;) that using warm water makes the egg harder so use cold not warm....
but before that i suggest what david said u need somthing that will chemicly break it up first if not a corky ball should do the job :D

Hi Everyone
I tried a mild body fat remover - Didn't work - I tried also tried a blood and protein remover - Didn't work. I also tried (in a small test area) white spirits - Still didn't work.
Contacted the club treasurer, explained everything, I also informed him, that someone has previously tried to remove this with a scraper and has scratched all the Perspex (not me). I think that’s why he got shot of the last window cleaners.
Anyway, I have advised him to get new windows fitted and then we will be able to keep them clean :-)
Thanks for everyone’s help anyway
Andrew
