Title: Is it me?

Does anyone else experience this:
Last week choc-a-block with work but the phone didn't ring.
Started this week with only 2 jobs in the diary.
By the end of Tuesday I had booked up the whole week (having worked all Mon & Tue) and booked up most of next week and beyond.  The phone is still ringing.

The other thing is quoting success - about a month ago I couldn't quote successfully whether on-site or on the phone.  At the moment I seem to be getting every job I quote on (no I haven't dropped my prices).

I can't explain the phone ringing one week but not doing so the next, but I wonder if the quoting business is a confidence thing.

Neil,

I'm not one of those who claims to be booked up for the next 6 months.  I've had quiet spells this year and despite what is looking like a good July, I do think August is going to be tough when people go off on holiday.  I usually have a few big commercial jobs booked for August, but so far nothing.

I was all for quitting 2 weeks ago.... It's steady at the moment but I'm neighbour nudging on every job from now on... That's the new "Rule"

Hope things pick up soon mate.....
