Title: method statements
Post by: lisa123 on September 02, 2005, 10:13:34 pm
Hi
Has anyone got a sample method statement for domestic and office cleaning, that i could take a look at please.

Do i have to outline each task, mopping, hoovering, polishing toilet cleaning etc, and say equipment/chemicals to use, how to use, and where?

example: mopping:mop and bucket, water and detergent:sweep floor to be cleaned first, check for obsticles, start at point furthest away, wring mop well, mop figure of 8/side to side backwards, checking for items/obsticles as you go, and until finished, do this task last before you leave the room. use yellow signs as precaution, Mop lino, floor tiles, wooden floors.

Thank you for your help. Are the statements suitable to use for all jobs, or will they need changing to suit??

Cheers, Lisa

Rather than everybody asking for them individually, why not upload them to the document download area of this forum - you only have to do it once, whoever wants to look at them can do so whenever they want. QED
