Title: price rise in nr future
Post by: gwrightson on July 05, 2010, 05:16:18 pm

Just quoted for a lounge on my way back home, small lounge in retired persons bungalow.

Straight forward job, nothing untoward apart from a small stain from a coffee spill, which custy even said" if it doesnt come out its not a problem as long as the carpet get a good freshen up "

£60 I said,  Well I thought what the hell have I said when her reaction hit me. " £60, £60 , £60 "she was shouting at almost the top of her voice, I feared the worst :'(  then her next words were " when can you do it, them robbing b****ds wanted to charge me £220   "

A huge sigh of relief on my part ;D

geoff

My eyes water when i hear some of the prior quotes people have had,i charge a decent fair amount, people out there charging nearly double what i charge.
Sometimes find myself dragging my heals,so it does not look like i am taking the pee.

Had a couple of customers recently I did about 2 years ago come back again.
Was suprised to see I was charging alot more then than I am now.
Thankfully both were so pleased the first time around they said I realise your prices have probably gone up a bit but as long as they haven't doubled, just come and do it.

More like that please.  ;D

Yes, It was indeed c dry.

I usualy find the majority of my custys do infact only ever go for 1 qoute, of course they may just not be telling me they are getting more :-\.
