i noticed the BAT sign flashing on saturday on my pure freedom flowcontroller so ive had it on charge for 2 days(so i thought!!)
anyway worked this morning and battery sign still flashing!it lasted until dinnertime then battery flat!!! ::) ::)
came home about an hour ago and plugged charger in.should the led light be red?as its been green for 2 days and i dont think it charged at all.its red at the moment but the connection is a little plastic thing thats not really a tight fit.do you think this is the problem?is it not charging properly? ::) ::)
its a leisure battery i got with the trolley.the charger connection is a crappy plastic thing.do you think i should tape it up when charging to make sure its working ok??

Connetors can be poor, change to maybe banana plugs, also connectors from battery, take case off and check, that's another reason the batt light comes ip if dodgy connection, happened I'm my new van mount.
Call pf refers colours green and red, I think it's red when low and goes to green when fully charged.
Batteries also have a sell by date, so double check when you check connectors. Mr B

Phone PF Daz. They can talk you through EXACTLY what each combination of colours means.
Also you will have by calling them reported it, so they cant deny you a replacement if its needed.

brian the battery and trolley is only just over 3 weeks old!
i think the problem is the little plastic thing on the end of the charger.if its slightly off the end of the battery the light stays green(float charge mode)instead of red(bulk charge)
i reckon the plug in thing on the battery is rubbish.you think they would put a better one so the plug fits nice and snug!
anyway its on red(charge mode)so hopefully itll be fully charged for morning!

Hi Daz,
Is it a golf ball charge that was supplied with when you got your trolley and when you connect the charge will light up green and when you switch the plug socket on it should go to red and when fully charge it should go to green again. And make sure no one accidently knocks the one button while you are charging it as it wont charge good.
I have a freedom trolley and have had it for 4 years now and hadnt have any major porblems with it but have changed one connect as the clip in one broke so i put a male and a female connect that works fine. And I only charge mine every other day.
You might be best to contact freedom about it before you alter anything as i would thought you have a 12 month warranty or more, and even you mighht have a booklet on it like a trouble shooter in it.

NJ yes its a golf leisure battery and charger.
i think the problem was the charger was slightly off the end on the battery therefore on green and NOT charging.
ive made sure it lights up red then by morning it should be green(float charge)meaning its fully charged for the day!
thats what im hoping anyway!
ive only been wfp for just over 3 weeks.i think its just a few teething troubles and getting used to equipment etc!
its a lot different than just having a ladder/bucket and a squeegee!
sometimes in the last 3 weeks ive thought "have i just made a very simple job more complicated and expensive??" ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D

Get rid and get a van system :D or go back to read m8.trolleys are just garbage.

I was quite surprised when I got it to see that it should be on charge at all times when not in use.
