One of the carpet cleaners round here advertises
that carpets are cleaned using the latest "hydro mist technology"
What is this??

Hydromist was a make of extractor yonks ago, nothing special about them. he's probably just waffling to make it sound like he uses something different & special

Did a 3 piece last week and woman said she'd previously
used him 18 months ago but the suite was damp for a
couple of days after so never again.

The Hydramist Champ is something similar to a Rug Doctor only more robust and powerful, a good operator can achieve satisfactory enough results with one but slowly. I know there are other machines in the Hydramist range but we hear little about them nowadays.

They come under Truvox nowadays and have a machine much like the Powr-flite, he might have one of these.
