Title: what brush for hot
Post by: steven ainger on July 02, 2010, 07:50:09 pm
 as the title says,
what brushes are all you hot wfp users out there using ???
i just cant find one im happy with, that last longer than 5 mins.
the tucker is a nice brush but is too heavy,
the gardiners is nice and light but doesnt seem to last 5 mins without deforming out of shape.
so is there a specially made brush for hot ????

Supalite's are fine, mono and flocked.

The new superlights seem to handle hot better. I'm using a DT flocked at the moment.

The flocked must use a different material for the bristles then? I don't run my system steaming hot though,...

Ionics dual-trim.

They retain their shape better than the SL Gardiner brushes.

Two days  :o

I wouldn't worry, that brush has paid for itself ten times over.  ;D ;D ;D

Steven, that exact same thing happened to a brush of mine. Spoke to Alex, he accepted there was a fault and replaced it.

Send it back and get it replaced, there is clearly a fault with it, and Gardiners will sort it.

i think i will send back, as you can see from the pic its only on one side, surely if it was due to the hot water, it would be all over ??

Probably one side gets more hot water than the other when cleaning narrow windows? (brush on its side)

That looks like how bentley brush'es go when using it with hot.
I would send that back, that's not right.

im using polarbrites new lightweight brush, its slightly bigger hence a little  heavier than supalight but its good with hot water and good value , think around£20
