Title: What flea treatment are people using now that Permethrin has been pulled
Post by: M.Acorn on June 29, 2010, 09:35:11 am
Can anyone recommend something ?
Most letting agy`s are fine with steam extraction, did a quote yesterday, and the letting agy is insisting they have flea treatment carried out,i may well lose the job to some one else,i suggested getting in a pest control guy,but the reality is it will prob be another cc`er who sprays something.

Just found this,it looks like you can still buy it..http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fumite-Insect-Killer-Permethrin-Generator/dp/B003E1S3CY/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&s=garden&qid=1277800886&sr=8-13

Any idea how long to leave this treatment on? Some you have to leave for two weeks, is this the same?

I believe you spray it on and leave it after you've cleaned the carpets.... Instructions are on the packet....

Back in stock soon. First batch went in 1 week. The sachet ones are now discontinued as the active ingredient has been banned I believe.

I think I bought most of Restormates initial stock!    :o   lol

The R.T.U safer more eco freindly insecticide they supply really is a top value product,  easy, very safe with rapid re-use - received good feedback from large corporate client I did a couple of weeks ago with no reports of further ankle biting or any lingering malodour / employee respiratory probs  from sprayed product.   I would def recommend this one.  Correct fan jet selection is important - would advise practice with water sprayed onto a dry paved area to acheive desired coverage.

Regards

Stu
