Hi Mike
Very generous offer.
I am about 10 mile but all M-way. I am very near j21 of M6
as Manchester Airport is big and not easy to stop anywhere, junction 6 of the M56 is just past Mcr airport and is a junction where you can come off and get on back to the airport for you. Some hotels for the airport off that junction so parking should be ok.
Have a look on google map or similar.
What time you to be there?
-
I'm staying overnight at the bewley hotel (on the airport site) before flying in the morning, so will be there from 8pm;
might be better for you just to pop to hotel..... you can buy me an orange juice in the bar as payment :D
-
You still using your Low Boy Mike?
Shaun

Yep, getting some impressive results
-
How Mcr airport has changed! Not heard of the Bewley hotel but can see it on google map, so no problem.
So thats this Sunday evening at around 8pm in the bar. ok

I know Mike is on holiday for a few days but I would like to say thank you to him for the Oreck Orbiter.
I met up with Mike and his wife on Sunday evening, had a drink in the bar and then collected the Oreck.
Done 3 jobs yesterday and today, used the Oreck on each of them - stairs as well.
Thank you Mike

The Orbiter's a cracking piece of equipment - had a new one delivered yesterday (my second) from Wilson Electricals in the IOW.
I mainly use it for hard floor work but it's great for general agitation duties. My only piece of advice would be NOT to use it for dry compound (as Oreck advertise), as due to the rotary nature it throws the compound EVERYWHERE! :o ;D (as I once found out).
Dave.
