Title: anybody reccomend a rinse additive?
Post by: shaun_pearson on August 30, 2005, 11:25:03 pm
hi guys, im using ms on most jobs now and only ever rinse with water. Ive had a couple of previos customers say to me that they preferred the smell when i used to clean their carpets, frustrating i know but if thats what they want. so im looking for something that i can put in my rinse tank, any suggestions?

thanks  shaun

I suppose deodoriser is to obvious an answer.

A few threads back a few people ( me included ) said they still use Ultimate Master in the tank because it dries neutral. I think it leaves carpets fluffier, brighter, softer and cleaner as well.

Hi Shaun

Prochems fabric & fibre rinse is good, its an acidic rinse agent, pH and colour stabiliser - pH 4

Depends on what is cheaper, deoderiser or some acidic rinse?

HI
I agree that ultimate master is an excellent product.
Rinse carpet with this and it dries neutral, excellent results,

PS
you could even save money by not using the ms first !

Isn't Geruch-Stop more for eliminating bad smells rather than a deodoriser ???

Neustralises and removes odours by biochemical and physical processing. Anti-oxidant and germicidal, pleasant smell.

i use bane clenes baby powder or orange essential oils, customers love it, especially baby powder, only a few drops needed, but this is not a sanitiser just a deoderiser

Hi,
This is something I have been testing for ages now, and by far the best solution i have found is Alltecs Odour Clear....300ml in with 50 Litres of rinse water.....super smell that everyone loves and lasts ages.

Just don't get it on your hands. Steve Saunders used to drop a bit on a ccs  hand at exhibitions as a demo and it stays there for DAYS.
