Title: Rug Doctor Anti-foam
Post by: Graeme@Access on June 28, 2010, 02:55:26 pm
During an end of tenancy clean of a large flat this morning we hit some major foam problems. You know the type where you get two strokes out before you have a whole tank of mr whippy going on

After using our supply of anti-foam inside 15 mins, i thought it would be faster to nip up to Johnson and grab some rug doctor anti foam.

They water it down... and if you shake the bottle it foams. Good job it only cost me £3

Eventually got some proper gear and resorted to pre-spraying the carpets with anti-foam. First time i have ever had to do this, but it got us through the job with vac motors in tact.

I really really hate rug doctors for more than 1 reason now.

Don't know why people slag off the RD, many a business has been built on similar machinery!

The only business that been built up with the Rug Doctor is B&Q and even they have to put up with 40% of people coming back complaining about the overwetting. :'(
