Title: the pink pound
Post by: e newlands on June 26, 2010, 08:05:12 am
had to price a builders clean job in brighton a few weeks back a conversion with a shop unit below
when i arrived it was like walking into a scene from a village people video
anyway priced the job and got it and done a good  when i was there a couple of the "boys" asked what other services i offered and said they would put out some busines cards for me in the local cafes bars shops in the area
in the last week have had over 20 calls ranging from window cleaning both commercial and domestics gutter cleaning builders and commercial cleaning and 2 more builders cleans for the developer i done last week and a large pressure wash of a block of flats everyone of the jobs i priced has come from recommendations from these 2 fellas
and the phone is still ringing now
done another 8 jobs and another 6 booked for next week sinse the builders clean
all have been negotiated all paid straight away
no moaning haggling over price and all said they would recommend us
i now have someone booked up to leaflet drop this well known gay area in brighton next week
its a market that is still affluent and once you are trusted the work seems to flow
would recommend to anyone

Gay customers are often very houseproud and therefore make good long term prospects. Also they do network and you will get recommendations.
