i really can't believe how whippy that thing feels simon. let us know how you get on with it?

if you want to compare that and the SL2 side by side let me know. could be a good test

just goin to have to use it at height rather than distance. i am a bit dissapointed with the whip, but ultimately, its a telescopic pole thats light enough to work with on commercial bits with a bit of repetition, the sl will be the next big purchase.

fibreglass and carbon mix poles will just be as whippy as fibre glass pole's especially top section better off with a alloy or full carbon pole

I bought an 18 ft clx. Did want 22 slx but not in stock. The clx is just how i remember my old 17ft xtel apart from the clamps. I do quite like it though and am using it all the time now. instead of sl2 which is my fave.

When it gets worn mark- hopefully not for a long time yet- switch the clamps to the other end if the sections.

Got my 26CL-X today and a side by side comparison w/ my 28ft X-Tel tells me I made a great buy! The X-tel had what I can only describe as recoil when using it side to side at height. It made the bottom of the pole difficult to handle. The CL-X has no such issue. It's also a smaller diameter and shorter when closed. All in all well worth the price and a great pole. In my opinion the X-tel fiberglass should be removed from the market as they are now obsolete!
