Hi guys how long should resin last i got a bag of resin from Freedom cause they said it would be cheaper than keep getting the 10" carrtidge of resin when i used to get the  carrtidge it used 2 last me about 4 months now doing doing it this way it last about a month any one know why this is  happening cheers.

I presume that the resin vessel is after an RO unit as you are in a hard water area.
It's possible that the membranes are becoming less efficient.  Have you checked the TDS after the RO?  How does it compare with how it used to be.
Certainly if doing like for like, a loose bag of resin should work out much cheaper than sealed resin vessels so your change of vessel may have coincided with membranes getting to the point where they need changing.

my membranes are about 4 months old or 5 i put new filters in about a month and half ago as i say its only started sins i done it this way my tds out of tap 259 after membranes 20 ater Di 000 but only last about a month now where as before it was about 4 or longer.
