Hello All,
I'm trying to put my round 4 weekly onto my iPhone.
My calender on the phone is monthly,
does anyone know of a way or an app to do this?
Cheers jay
-
You carn't do it
-
Use google calender or Outlook and Sync. It is possible as i have all my work on my iphone sync with Outlook.
-
better off putting your work on a exel spreed sheet then download the app for it
-
Use this one on your App store on your I phone, it’s a great peace of kit.

Not sure about the i phone but i have a htc desire and have got a app called documents to go and it makes it possible to download any program from pc to phone also i can edit on the phone.
I know itis not as good as geore but i find it a great help.

I bought calengoo for £3.99 off iPhone last night.
Don't have much patience for stuff like this.
All I want is to put my round on and it shows me where to go every 4 weeks.
That George looks good but don't think it works on iPhone.
Cheers Jay

You can put all your work how you want it set out onto exel spreadsheets and then email to yourself obviously you cant edit on the phone but you have your list of work for the week
-
Didn't Matt say he was working with someone to bring a app out ?

there will be an app out soon!! ;)

What your trying to do is called a custom repeat event. Unfortunately the phone won't allow you to input one however if you make the 28 day custom repeat event on your pc or mac you should be able to sync the event across to the iPhone. Another cool way of doing it is to set up a mobile me or google mail account and use the calendar on that to sync with your phone, then the changes you make on the computer will appear on the phone instantly and visa versa, this is a very good way of syncing up several iPhones calendars together, and also contacts lists as well.

That's pretty much what I used to do.
I personally just think it's easier to print off the worksheet to remind yourself what's to do, mark down anything you need to remember on there and then it only takes a couple of minutes to update at base on the computer when I get back.
Messing about with the phone while you are out working wastes too much time in my opinion.
-
my thoughts exactly mark!!in fact i dont even take worksheets with me anymore!!i work my round from A-Z in the same order bar a few bigger stand alone accounts.
i look in george the night before and see whats due or overdue and either make a mental note of who owes 2/3 weeks or write some notes down(eg if they are having their conny roofs cleaned/fascias etc in with the window clean) then simply update at the end of the working day!easy!!
any new jobs i get during the day i make a note of address/phone number and update also at the end of the day!!
nice and simple and it works very well for me!!

dazmond

Yes, the system runs in your desktop browser found on your Pc, Mac and most mobile devices, including the iphone.

Try www.collectmyround
It works a treat!

Just read about that, but Im not sure if it works from the mobile end, ie, you tap in that youve just done a job, or collected a payment, and its updates instantly on your phone, pc or mac. Correct me if Im wrong
-
Far too risky to put it all on a phone surely.
Easily mislaid, and they go wrong sometimes (iphones especially)
Use a laptop with George or similar on it, then you can back it up regularly to avoid loss. ;)

Its cloud computing, so your data is on a server.
You can access it from any PC, Mac, mobile phone with a browser, anywhere in the world.
So if you were to lose your phone, you just get another, and log on with your password.
Hope that helps

You wont get into trouble if you answer questions about your product, because WE are asking YOU.
Do tell us about it.

Hi Dave
Thank you very much.
All I can say really is its cloud computing, so when you do your job you tick it off, and then it updates everything there and then, whether the job is done and paid, done not paid, done prepaid, etc.
So basically your round is on your mobile, you click on schedule, put in the round ie round 1, week 1, Mon.
It will then pull out everything for those dates, and all the addresses and streets for that day will appear on your device.
If its collections only, it will pull all that out aswell, and soon as you tick the box, as done, its an instant update, so say if you had somebody in the office, they can see that at say 9.31 that job was done and what person did it, (if you were more than 1 man)
Basically there is no paperwork, theres no upgrades (as we do that automatically) and no synchronisation.
Data is on servers, so should you lose, get your phone/pc stolen, you can log on anywhere in the world and see you data.
I hope this makes things a bit clearerf.
All I can say is to go to the site, watch the demo, and watch the videos on youtube, especially the one about cloud computing, that really explains it well.
Thank you for letting me respond

I have been given user names and passwords if anyone would like to log on to the mobile side of the system so they can see what it looks like on their iphone, or any other touchscreen phone with a browser. Its demo data, but you can play around with it to get a feel for it
If anyone interested just drop me a line

does it work with blackberry kate???????????
-
Hi Franky
What kind of Blackberry is it, does it have a touch screen - no keypad?
Can you give me the model number and name?
-
Could you possibly email me a demo pass to get in please.
Thanks
-
no its not touch screen,
its the lastest bold 9700
-
Dave, sure if its ok with you, i will give you the passwords tomorrow
-
Hi Franky
You maybe able to see the mobile side of Midas on your phone, but as its not touch screen its not really the ideal phone to use out in the field could be fiddly, if you want to see what it looks like, I can send you a password. Or alternatively you could see what the mobile side looks like on your pc or mac
Hope that helps
-
Yes thats fine.

Hi here are the log in details
http://www.midas-demo.acacia-technologies.co.uk/m_login.php
You need to put this address in your iphone or mobile device, touch screen with a browser, you can look on your PC or Mac also,
user
username
password
password
For starters if you select schedule which is in top left, next to all the options
What I would suggest to people, select wk 1, round 1, mon,
That will be bring up all the streets to be worked on, then you can click on the street, it will then bring up the house number, and you should be able to play about with that.
You can also do that with "coll", which is collections only
If anybody dosent understand anything, please get in touch, as with anything new, its a learning curve.
Also please bear in mind, we deal with Wheelie bin cleaners also, so if you see green bin, thats the reason.
Bury road would be a good one to click on, as that data is based on window cleaners.
