Hi
I have over the past 6 months bought 2 Karcher vacuums. 1 is a CV36/2 and the other is a CV38/2. They look pretty identical to the Sebo and the performance is excellent (although i have never used a sebo before so cant really compare) I have heard that Sebo make the Karcher machine or vice-versa, and at a glance they do look the same. Does anyone have any more info on this?

I bet they are made in the same chinese factory, I have the karcher which like you say is identical to the sebo but in yellow.

As Mike says - the parts are probably made in the same place in China - but I reckon Sebo put them together in Germany & then supply Kracher. But unless you are on the inside, guess you'll never be absolutely certain

I heard a Karcher is built under licence from Sebo

Karcher built in Romania, nothing to do with Sebo, sebo built in Germany. The new electralux commercial is the way forward.

the karcher cv36/2 is a great vacumm. however, Karcher have now updated the model (CV38/2) but it does not look the same, looks much cheaper. The 'old' CV36/2 did look identical to the Sebo and was brilliant....why do manufactures have to change things for the worse, all about cost cutting no doubt!
