Title: What are you hoping for from the budget tomorrow
Post by: Hilton on June 21, 2010, 02:02:20 pm
Not looking forward to whats in store for us tomorrow in the budget, I hope there is going to be some help for small business,

Gormless Gorman and rest of that shower of shyte have left us in such poor condition that it is going to be a painful few years ahead.

Looks like VAT will rise so direct cost to all of us who drive as more money is going to be taken at the petrol pumps, I am concerned they will cut too deep too quickly sending the country in to a double dip, this will affect all of us as confidence will go and customer spend will fall,

I am hoping it will be up beat in as much as it can be, given the circumstances,  if its all doom and gloom then it will affect the mood of the country resulting in tougher times ahead for us all.

Hey, a decade of unrestricted spending by a so called 'prudent' chancellor - always remembering that it was your money he spent - and when that wasn't enough - he just borrowed from all and sundry.     Surely you have to appreciate that you have never had it so good for the last 13 years.      Now it's pay-back time - and we are certainly going to have to pay.
As for G Brown Esq - did you know that if he had remained chancellor - his pension would have been ca £36,000 per annum.   The fact that he then became PM ( even if it had only been for 1 day) boosted his pension to ca £100,000 per annum.    No wonder he was that desperate to get the top job.   And whose paying for that pension - yes, it's you.

Will we ever hear of of see G Brown again in any meaningful  way - I doubt it - he's seen himself ok

...

stop concentrating on what Gordon Brown might have/hadn't done and concentrate on the future. it'll sort it self out one way or another, get creative and you'll be fine too.

it's getting boring hearing so many people against Gordon calling him names like a kid and then acting like one.

i'm hoping that whatever the case may be, people don't get upset and act like a child about it. get on with work and stop wasting time complaining about how it could be better as it could also be worse!

hi there

yes there are undoubtedly going to be tough times ahead, however, its been tough for the past couple of years, and a lot of companies large and small have already made allowances for that, in the way that they run their business, therefore these people are in a good position to drive forward.

there is also no better time to go out there and sell, sell and sell.

because a lot of companies have disappeared and a lot of companies have trimmed back on sales activity, but people still want their carpets cleaned.

people ie domestics, and comercial clients, havent bought new carpets, or moved premises, therefore the next cheapest is to have their carpets cleaned.

so i say listen to what they have to say, and then drive your business throu it.

regards

martin

The Tories/Lib Dems are getting the poo out of the way first so as the economy may get better in 4-5 years time they may just look rosey, Labour had spent too much and we all know it now! aparently we are £155 billion in debt and that doesn't include the banks bail out.

All I know is I'm filling up the van, the car and a 5 gallon can in the morning. If I have time I will buy lots of beer, wine and tabs! 8)

they are royalty free, as soon as you pay for them then the watemark disappears, i have so many images that need to trawl through them to find exactly what i want to use.

Hi Martin,

I know how it works, and please believe me you cannot use those pictures on an uploaded website for advertising unless you have paid for them, thats why they have a watermark on them, the site allows you to download them with the watermark for design purposes only, when you are happy with the design you buy the images and use them as the licence allows.

Regards,

Paul

just how i took what you were saying. by the looks of it i took it wrong but then that's understandable as this is an internet forum, not a face to face conversation.

Well if that was how your mind understood it then say so in your own simple way & don't imply that I would use those words
