Title: Blown fuse in Shurflo Backpack
Post by: Ken on June 21, 2010, 11:31:59 am
Quick query. As the title suggests the fuse has blown in my backpack. I have bypassed the pcb and now have a simple on/off switch at the top of the tank. It has run fine with no issue for months, then blew at the end of last week. I have checked all the wiring, and can see no issues. Could it be the pump switch? Any other possibilities?

fuse? never seen one in my shureflow backpack, what i have noticed though, water gets into where the batteryand pump compartment is, water could be running down the wires into the fuse,

Presume your talking about the fuse with the battery, I too have bypassed the circuit board and now have an on / off switch, when I was wiring the switch it blow the fuse so I replaced it with a 10amp fuse as this was the only one I had, not had any problems since.
