Did some protecting for retailer yesterday who asked who had cleaned the rugby club carpet ? Although I did protect it when fitted and since cleaned it once I didnt clean it recently.
The guy from the club had been in the shop asking for a fitter to call . On return the fitter not too chuffed- someones cleaned it , its pulled off all plates and grippers and is still wet !
They must have soaked it to shrink a wool axminster !
Very annoying in one way , and you wonder what on earth goes on in peoples heads, but on the other hand its SWEET !!

Single vac worn out piece o poo porty boro cc springs t mind!
He recently left a custys suite dripping so bad she needed black bags laid around it for 4 days!!!!! he charged her £50 and took less than one hour in which time he barged into her bedroom twice to ask her a Q then emptied his waste into her kitchen sink after telling her he had been cleaning doggy do earlier that day!!!!!!!! Some folk need lockin up for there own safety - the sweet part as you say I suppose was when I re-cleaned her suite 7 weeks later for £100 and she so pleased I have since cleaned for her mother and daughter. ;D
All the best

Little to do with the machine. It's the person behind the wand every time. Even a tiny little Puzzi can leave a suite dry in 3-4 hours unassisted and some single vac's I've used can leave a carpet or suite touch dry in an hour or so.

And still dirty ;D

Must agree Robert I was just setting the scene - pointing out his setup - the guy in question is and has been leaving a trail of misery in my area - and thats just from the few custys I have followed him to. He has been going years and apparently does a fair few EOTs dont know how he gets away with it tho most are happy enough just because he is cheap!! How naive of the paying customers to put up with such poor results. He really shouldnt be getting away with the level of service he provides.

I can't believe customers don't call him back :o how is he getting away with it ??? As you guys are unfortunate enough to follow him around what are the customers saying. He should at least pay for the work you're doing to put it right.

Stu I can't believe that the mother and daughter were so dirty you had to clean them aswell!
Back to topic, we've all seen or heard about them but it is down to the trademan and not his tools and also to some extent managing customers expectations not that things should take that long to dry but if the long drying times were explained then I'm sure that some cleaners would look rosier in customers eyes.
