Did someone on here explain how to adapt it?

Did someone on here explain how to adapt it?
Yes, it literally takes two minutes. Buy one of Scrimmy's Harris pole adapters (under a tenner and will last for years and years), discard the top couple of fishing pole sections and hacksaw a section of the third pole so that it slips nicely into the fishing pole.
I just use the same brush for my Harris, it just slips over the end of that too; so if I want to clean ground floor, I just slip it off the Harris and onto the top section of my fishing pole and bob's yer uncle, a nice ground floor pole and you're not carting two poles or brush heads about.
It does mean you have external pole hose, but this has advantages as well as disadvantages; and I'm fine with it.

Cheers Tosh, might give that a go.
I have my lad starting with me next week as he has just finished his GCSE's.

Any pictures of adapted poles anyone?

Seeing as these poles dont have clamps, does that mean each section has to be fully extended for it to lock or can you partially extend somehow?

they are modular or take apart poles so you just slot them into each other with the amount of sections required

Stu-mac can you tell me what the finished length was of the Garbolino 13mtr pole you have got after you adapted it? Because im considering buying a carbon fishing pole for the higher work, i've recently started using a 5mtr Harris as was using a crap fibreglass pole before and find the Harris much better.

the 13m came with a free 1.8m extension which gave me a total useable length of 38 and a bit feet but i bought another extension to give me 44 feet
at this point i am not recommending this pole as i have only been using it a week so it may not be up to the job but so far its great
a tried and tested pole would be either a map f16 or m16 pole 16m that would give you 44 feet

Cheers stu-mac this is something im definately going to consider doing.
And hopefully save £££'s. ;D
-
i will answer any more questions tomorrow as i am off camping and fishing now ;D

-
You too have a good weekend, mate. Hope you get some bites.
I may go fishing for Squeaky later. ;D
