I borrowed a set of ladders from a friend recently to do
some internal work , 3m double Titan points only to find
the bottom of the ladder was not splayed out . apparently Titan
no longer sell them splayed . they turned on me twice and i had
hardly leaned out .
Anyone thinking of buying ladders please avoid this design as they are very unstable ,
has anyone else experienced this .

Have them put down if they turn on you again. Vicious ladders them titans.

they sound the sort of ladder that keeps your mind on the job !
my gut feeling is that a lot of engineering is done on the cheap these days,i bought regular ladders fairly recently and had to spend quite some time filing off very sharp edges on the ladder brackets
SERIOUSLY though this thread needs sticking up at the very top so that Titan starts spreading its legs again ;) . its wrong that titan display photos of a safe ladder but then are selling an unsafe model

I sometimes split my pointer ladder and use the non-splayed section to do higher ground floor windows. I have to take it carefully, otherwise the ladder can twist. I wouldn't even consider going to the top of a double extension that was like that, so Titan wouldn't get my money...
