Title: van struggling with all this weight..!!!!!!

my vans filled ready for monday!

300L pure water

trolley/pole

trad gear/ladders

i thought id take it for a spin!bloody hell!!you can really feel the weight in the back!i better take it easy going to work every day! ;D ;D

i have a renault kangoo 1.9 D(PAYLOAD 665KG)

maybe im just not used to driving with all this weight!!

how do you guys get on?did you notice a difference when you first started wfp?

Do you need to fill the tank to 300 litres, when you look at Mondays work you may only need half that as an example. You will be using more diesel too. If you're carrying that water plus your trolley, yes it will feel a tad sluggish.

But you get used to hit. Try not to bump up too many kerbs. ;D

yes it is a bit different, best bit of my week is a friday when i unload most of it and take the ladders of and i can drive up the steep brae at 30mph and in third gear instead of second gear at 15mph

I had the same van for 5.5 years with 400ltr + ladders + trad gear. It never let me down & gave me no probs, you just get used to driving a bit different with the weight in it.

Your van can easily cope with your weight. ;)

in my opinion ye he does to make way for new jobs which will be 1st time cleans which = very dirty windows which = loads of water

buy a k and n air filter big bore exhaust get it chipped and lowered and tuned up to the max n it shouldnt be sluggish then nice set of 20inch alloys blacked out window to deter thiefs ul look the dogs danglies u could call yaself "pimp my windows"  ;D ;D ;D

is the tank baffled, that stops the water weight being thrown all over the place, and makes  driving easier

i have 12 25L BARRELS(300L).

I think its because im used to just having trad gear in my van!it does seem a bit ridiculous carrying all that water just to clean windows!! ;) ;D ;D ;D

first day on my paying custys tommorrow!! ::) :P ;D ;D

i've got a vito 112 pulls 650ltrs like a train hardley notice any difference
