Its a new development of flats in Hemel Hempstead, used to be the Kodak tower tallest building in Hertfodrshire.

Isn't health and safety a funny thing? You can't climb up on a garage roof yet you can dangle for hours on end on a bungy rope ;D
Sod that!
-
sod that for a game, no way would i dangle off a rope :o
-
I would love to do that......
-
Why are they made to wear high viz vests? Are H&S worried someone might run them over? ;D
-
The water in those buckets must be filthy the time you get to the bottom of a drop.
-
I'd love that too ! ! >:(

Start your IRATA training mate and we will get you on the ropes

What are those boys on a day Charlie?
My neighbour does abseiling work, he gets £90 a day. He's level 1.
Thats shocking!

Thats about right for a level 1 as that is still someone training and need supervision at all times top level 3 guys can get £150 a day
-
Have to admit I surprised when he told me, I thought hanging off a rope all day would bring in more.
Although saying that his thoughts on level 3 wernt what youve just quoted.
I think he needs to re-assess what he thinks he'll earn in that case. ;D

They do tend to only work 6 hours a day so the rates are good, many years ago it used to be better but like any trade the more people that do it the cheaper it gets.
-
Good pictures but I did notice a couple of squeegee kick marks ;D.

Ha ha will get them to do them again in the morning

The water in those buckets must be filthy the time you get to the bottom of a drop.
Especially when they need a pee and a poo on the way down!

I'm astonished it's so low but presumably you are referring to a PAYE employee who has paid holidays etc? Even so, it still sounds a bit low.
-
you are mental :o
-
wont be the same doing a 3/4 bed semi like that. ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
Now THAT is window cleaning :o :o :o :o

£150 a day paye is great money for a window cleaner
your looking at £39000 before tax
-
Hi

Yes I agree, £150 a day for being a paye window cleaner, not too bad, but thats not just window cleaning that is specialist window cleaning. Give them a pay rise...

£150 a day.
Thats much lower than I would have thought. I'm surprised anyone does it, given that you can easily earn that on domestics with waterfed pole with no risk and no irata training.
-
No way!.
Hanging on the end of a rope in the middle of winter, 20 stories up, freezing ur crackers off with a north east wind blowing, no where to hide and no break to warm yourself up til youve finished another 20 stories.
I know what Id rather be doing.
Not knocking Charlie, (his rates seem to equate with what this neighbour of mine was talking about on level 1) just would have thought the rate would be higher for that kind of malarky.
-
Charlie what do these guys do on a 'inclement weather' ;D day?
-
I take my hat off to you guys , although i work in the most xtreme side of cleaning for many years i could never do that, nice pics .I was born down that way.Live amongst the sheep now.Nice bit of kit that long arm :)
-
would sooner hang off that building than do your extreme cleaning.... That looks awful

Do you get much work from your website pro-clean?
-
What you need to remember is these guys have proberbly had all there training paid for, turn up to work, do the job and go home, no paper work etc that we have to do, also in bad weather they probs get paid regardless so by the end of the year with days lost its more then £150 a day worked....
How much a day do you recon a company like that has to earn a day before making a profit.....
-
ITs something we put togelter over a cup of tea :o some time ago, soon to be renewed by d p print wich may i say have done us some fantastic leaflets .It was more a case of direct information for extsing customers for which we have worked for over 20 years and yes it dose pull in a little bit of worke but needs the professional touch :-[
-
I hope you'd washed your hands before you had your cup of tea.
I presume some of the images on your site are basically real case scenarios.
The outline of the body and blood on the bed looks a little suss mind ;)
A bit too staged ;D
How much would you charge to spend a day clearing a dead drug addicts flat of needles and all the debris that that brings, soiled bed etc, dead dog bla bla bla?
-
Imagine getting to the first window and realising you've left your squeegee in the van ::)
Andy

I fancy a day on the internals fella looking out if it can be arranged ;)
