Title: Got my Pure Freedom system
Post by: Sseddon on June 09, 2010, 03:07:19 pm
I got the 24 foot hybrid pole. 1st thoughts are it's quite heavy - the pole that is. Also wondering about moving around with the trolley & pole. I assumed that the pole would attach to the trolley in some way.

I'd be interested in how others got on when they first used WFP.

I ususally pull the trolley in 1 hand and carry pole in other, but i suppose somehow you could attach them. (sorry no suggestions)

I would recommend using a Gardiners supalite though, and you will notice a hell of a difference where weight is concerned. ;)

Got it today... but didn't get a call 1st so wasn't prepared. I've been following your thread. I'm pretty sure there isn't a holder on 25 litre.

I've set up the RO system. It's all a bit much at first, but I'm getting there now. Just waiting to start producing pure water as there is a 2 hour running time to flush the cylinders.

I note you went for the extension hose. Especially if you have the shut off valve on the pole, that seems a good idea.

I'm sure you'll get yours soon. Best of luck with it.

You could sellotape one of these vertically to the bar. :P

Hi I have a pole holder on the side of mine there is a half moon rest on the side of just before the handle that folds down and near the front bottom there is a cup with a slit through it for the tubing.
Mine is a 25 litre with and extra to carry 50 litres and mine came from Pure Freedom.

very hard keeping a pole secure on a trolley even with a bespoke holder, we tried many ways on our model, ended up doing away with it.

Did my windows & next doors today. Really pleased with the result on the UPVC windows, however front & back door are varnished wood and results less good. So trad I think for those in future.

Struggling to stem leak in the on/off valve on the handle. Also, with hindsight I cut it slightly too short when I fitted the valve meaning I have to stay perhaps a foot closer to the trolley than necessary.
