have been using a controller for a few weeks now with no probs, went to use it yesterday and it was dead, have been testing it, pumps working fine when not connected to controller, i have left it so that it is all wired up properly but the pump will still work if i take the black lead from the pump straight to the battery, and leave the rest wired up to pump, but can not control the flow any one got any ideas what is up, have had tried rewiring the pump with no success

Fuse?

no everything is ok, do i just need a new controller

Did you have it screwed to the ply lining/secured in an upright position?
I know a few ppl have left them dangling by the wires & water got in,... if this happens they are dead beyond repair normally. ;(

Easy to say yes, but, I'd take it apart and test all the wiring/connectors first...
oh re read your have been using a controller for a few weeks now
if it's new get onto them for a replacement one

First of all check the controller fuse, maybe even bypass it for a few seconds, also check you haven't connected the battery terminals the wrong way. Varistreams don't like it.
You can work without a controller anyway provided you fit a by-pass system on the hose. Alex Gardiner never used controllers for years even though he stocks them. ;)
