Title: help with ro 4040 please

i need a valve on the waste pipe wot valve do i use or can i use ???

dont have one like mine as it can be very difficult to ajust sometimes

why is it hard to adjust sometimes ? and what is it wot u used any idea what i can use

use some half inch pipe with a valve tap that you use with your 8mm pipe on the reel

its hard to ajust the flow rate
I try and get a 50 /50 balance waste and pure
not the best i would go with one like this

I should change mine , just not got round to it yet  :'(

i go for a 60 % waste and 40% pure that tap looks a bit big but probaly would do the job but you could get a smaller one

you would need to play around with the fittings a little , and get a hoselock end to connect your hose to it

right superb i have just recived new 4040 housing guess what it has a bloody membrane already :):):) but trouble is it has 2 holes at both end with push fit how do i connect pipes to it its the stainless steel housing im so bloody confused

If remember correctly think its the middle hole you connect to on the stainless steel. will look at mine later

right on the water input the middle hole gets blanked off.

on the pure and waste side middle  is pure and the other is waste with your tap on.
if that makes sence?

in from tap must go on to middle one and on exit end the middle is pure and the one right beside it is waste but i also have a waste on the inlet end as well

yeah as i said the hole on the inlet gets blanked off  ::)

the inlet is not the middle one its the outter one! nearest the edge!  i checked on mine.

if you read my above post ive just told u what to do

yes with a blanking plug
