W5 is the best i've used apart from professional liquids of course. GG3 with a drop of unger squeegee off is better tho.

does the price between pro detergents and off the shelf products warrant the extra spend
is the difference noticable to the customer  asking as ive never tried gg3 or 4

Yes - GG4 for hard water and GG3 for soft.  I think I got mine a long time back from Cleaning Warehouse - but best to check a few suppliers first.  Postage will probably vary considerably so take that into consideration too.

I bought some Polar Shine at Windex. I think it is good stuff. Couldn't get on with GG4. I used W5 and it is good too. Squeegee off is good, but no better than most of the other detergents I have tried. Never used Fairy.

I got some W5 today. I've mixed a big one of the yellow liquid with a small orange one in an old GG3 bottle and it looks like I'm still using the proper stuff! I hardly trad anymore otherwise I would stick to GG3, but for the odd window W5 isn't bad.
