Done a job early this morning ( Golf club Bar ) Have heard from a second hand person that they are not happy. My first complaint :'(
My questions are
1 It was raining would this have an inpact on the finish?
2 Does Rain dry the same as pure water? ( I am guessing it does but want the experts to say it does!)
3 Did notice that the insides were dirty could this be the problem?
Will be going there to have a look early wed morning.
Thanks Ian

could be not happy done in rain;may even have done a good job.

Only one way to sort it out, pop in and speak to them, put right whatever is wrong and if its inside and you only do outs persuade them to have inside cleaned as well
-
Don't try to second guess what the problem is until you go there and check it out.It could be the insides like you say.If the rain was anything like where I was today it wouldn't have been bad enough to make bad results (unless the top of the frame was dirty and the rain has washed it down?).Could just be the customer is never satisfied.I've had one or two like that.

Could this 'second hand person' be a wind up merchant?
-
go any have a look, was it a first clean
-
Yes was first clean - wooden frames.
Done all tops first (very small glass) went back to do the main glass-wiped the top frames over befor starting the main area.

was it dry before u left, as when i do a first clean, i try and stay to make sure it is good

No it was not dry as it was raining.
-
only thing u can do is go up there and just say called up to see how it dryed, as some time it somes up crap blah blah blah,
thats what i would do

I'm assuming you did it using wfp, if so then the questions to ask are:
Have they ever had it done like this before?
Did their last WC do it trad?
Why are they unhappy about the clean, it's often a case of they see the windows left wet and they thing you've done half a job, they rarely wait until the windows have dried spotless!
Who's complained? Is it one of the commitee or just a member commenting.
Go there have a look at them, tell them that you always come back to check after first cleans to make sure that you are happy with the result and to check that the customer is also happy.

I would go back and check up, just say that you were seeing how they dried as sometimes on first cleans they need a little more attention. Wooden frames on first cleans can be very stubborn especially if the previous wc used to use fairy like it was going out of fashion. If something need redoing, then redo. If the insides are minging as well then there is a chance to make a bit extra by offering to do them as well.

Go back and check it out for yourself.
Not such a good idea to do a first clean in the rain, especially if the custard is going to be there.

All sorted the fact was that the windows were dirty on the inside-had to bite my lip a bit but plenty of humble pie was issued out!! Thanks for all your imput.
