well that all depends how many you are tending to do everyday and what tank size you are using and flow rate. I assume 20 a day so just under 600 litres a day over 10 days so in total you migh need 6000 litres of produce water.

I pay around £100 a month. Full round most days of the week. If you can get away with DI only then you'll use nearly half the water.

Like it says, I pay £100 a month on water meter. I work on my own and use up to 600 litres on a long day and use an RO. Don't forget for every 1000 litres of water you make into pure you have to chuck nearly as much down the drain.
If you are DI only then you chuck nothing down the drain during the process of producing pure water.

Check your ;asr water bill and see how much you are being charged per m3 ( cubic metre/1000L). I am charged about £1.70 per m3. Double it to allow for waste and it costs me £3.40 for a 1000L of pure water, that aint bad considering how much that 1000L earns me ;D

Down here in Essex, I pay £1.09 per cubic metre, to fill my IBC I would say I pay any where between £1.50 and £2 that includes all the waste, 1000 will last me 2 days. even if I used 1000 litres a day it would only cost me £30-£40 per month.

Matt, you are forgetting the sewerage bill and the household usage. I think you are in for a shock.

I am using 400l per day.
I have a unit and a commercial water meter and we don't pay sewage costs on that.
When we filled up from home we use to pay £1.43 per cubic metre for waste.
So £2.52 per cubic metre for water and waste. that would bring in £200-£250

Why bother with a unit for 400l a day? If you don't mind me asking.

Because its easier, I only have a 350 litre in my Escort van and all I do is nip back in my lunchtime and top the van up.
I had nowhere to put an IBC tank plus I was getting moaned at by my other half about the house looking more like a work unit lol.
I saw a unit whilst out cleaning a few months back, £40 per week including rates.
