Title: anyone use 25L RESIN VESSEL?
Post by: dazmond on May 31, 2010, 07:43:26 pm
as tds is only 35-40 i was thinking of getting just one big 25L resin vessel for purifying at home.according to the resin calculator it would cost me roughly £30-£35 a month if i used 6000L and i would only have to change resin every 3 months.as im on a water meter in a first floor flat i think this is the best option for me for now.

or do you think itd be better if i used 2 11L VESSELS in tandem? ??? ???

all depends on weight u carrying,  if you want to cut back on weight in van, i would use the 25 ltr and fill up and just carry pure water

daz at a tds you have you wont save much buy getting a twin di set up, the only difference on the 25l di is you will not have to change resin very often

i just use a 11l di and fill with pure it would be a good idea to have a small di in the van just for topping up as well though

a 25l di will be heavy though ;)

a twin setup will save you about 30% in costs,.. might take a while to pay for itself, but in the long run its worth it.

u can get a dumpy tank, which is what i use in the van,  just in case,  the 25 ltr should last u a least a year
