Post by: David Kent @ KentKleen on May 31, 2010, 01:20:29 pm: Hi, I have been testing a small device which will keep your van mounted system battery charged and is cheap as chips and so easy to fit.
I have been using a standard 12v van battery (not the expensive deep cycle leisure battery~) to run my system for the last 4 months with one of these fitted and have never had to charge the system battery up manually. (i.e removing it from the van)

The total cost for the kit with the correct wire and fuses works out at around £25
Anyone interested????
I used to have an auto electrical business and still have a few contacts so was thinking of buying a bulk order if there is enough interest??

Anyone can make a bodged up split charging system or just run a cable from your van or car battery.
This is just a SAFE and easy way to sort the problem out.
Fit and forget your battery problems!! ;)

Post by: andy east sussex on May 31, 2010, 09:22:50 pm: thats ok running a basic power wire from main wire but remeber it will be running off both which may mean both batteris will go dead so split charge is reeally the only safe way of doing it

i am very interested. i am sick of charging my battery on a daily basis.
