The most annoying things regarding doing this job are; getting hose caught on things like wheelie bins, plant pots, garden furniture, car wheels, edges of walls. Pole hose some how getting itself into a ball of spagetti, leaks, black hands, asking custies to open gates night before but when you get there the gate is still bolted!! ???
Anyone else got anymore?

dogs muck and cat muck on hoses
im sure everyone already knows this but for those that don't, keep a damp piece of towel/cloth next to
your reel hold hose in this cloth reel hose back in cleaning it every time you do ;D keeps your hose like new and helps you reel it on straight.
-
the most annoying thing about wfp is what equipment to buy !gardiners are supposed to make the best light poles but there never in stock!
anyway here we go again!heres my wishlist.
22 clx gardiners pole
50L p/f trolley and 12 containers
25L DI/2.7L DI VESSELS
AUTOBRUSH

I get the blade on them , Not much of a problem if its a bottom window but when its a up you have to get the ladder out :'( and like I said you can clean the same house and have the same type of window it will take to it or not
I always check my work and I mix and match trad with wfp.
I know that you have just changed over so don't worry dazmond you will be fine son ;) horses for courses and so on. Once you know what tool to use you will fly round your work ;D
Adders
-
ive not changed over yet adders!i have been using wfp on custys outside taps for conny roofs/facias etc for a few months.ive also been using trad poles for years.
i suppose if its the odd upstairs window i can blade with trad pole save getting the ladders out! :D :D :D

Daz, by the time you go WFP, we will all be retired! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

are you thinking about adding it cozy over in holland?(it is holland or is it germany?).
its gotta be a great tool for us trad windys to get into.
maybe trad has more "soul" but wfp is our "souless future" in pursuit of money and prestige!! ;) ;D ;D ;D
-
Yes mate, in the middle of a deal for a bigger vehicle. Got to go WFP, will be too old to trad on ladders in a few years.

u old fart m8 ;) ;D ;D im only 40 & i cant do ladder work anymore ::)
-
Never had to blade off excess when using wfp its dries clear, and dont see the point to blade off when using wfp, thats going besides the point of not using ladders.
Keep calm when hose gets stuck or been annoying, when things dont go right for you. Think of nice things like the money coming in or something.
Wfp can be trying your patience when all happens but keep with it there is the other side of the coin like been quicker and not falling off a ladder etc..As i too still use both methods to keep customers happy and provide a good service for them, as been flexible for your customers, even when things dont always go as planned.

the most annoying thing for me, is working in a busy area, you have both large warning signs both sides of the pavement, and while your poling, and water dripping down, they walk right through ;D

Sometimes I wonder. Just ordered a bag of resin £81 including vat. In my ladder days that would have paid for my scrims for about 6 months. ???
