Title: Wilton Carpets

Hello Gents

Can anyone give me any advice on the best way to clean Wilton Carpets. Is it just Belgium Wiltons that we have to be carfull of using HWE

Neil,

It is always worth checking the fitting of any carpet you are about to clean.

Try pulling the carpet around the edges , is it well fixed?

Look for evidence of previous shrinkage especially by doors , rads.

Wool carpets will not  shrink unless you get them too wet!

All woven carpets will shrink if you over-wet them!

As advised, check that they are well fitted and any joins are secure. I vacuum then spray with M/S and agitate as usual then turn down the water pump pressure to 30psi and extract. (no problem) just make sure that you extract well and evenly. Hope this helps ;)
