It's scary isn't it, I've had a couple.. how'd you fall, did it slide backwards?
-
Time to go WFP ;D
-
its scary ok bottom off the ladder just slide back over still can not get my head round how it went i wedged the feet into the grass
-
go 100% wfp, u might not be lucky next time
-
I found it helps to stick a couple of large tent pegs in the grass if it's a bit slippery or the angle's wrong, not very H and S I know, but better than falling.

g-r glad you didnt hurt yourself. i rely on ladder spikes (that you can buy off ebay ) and i was looking at a thing called LADDERMAT, this looks a very handy idea, for use on deep gravel, big stones and such like . ive not bought one yet but not expensive

I just cant get my head around this. Why the hell would anyone want to use a ladder if they have wfp equipment?

gr - glad you got away with nothing more(hopefully) than some strained muscles,
but weather or not your custy's says tyhey like WFP or not is risking your life for a tenner really worth it ?
i took a 15 foot tumble early last year - landed on my shoulder and got away with just bruises and a sore shoulder for 6 weeks.
decided that my life/family were worth more than the cash.
changed to WFP - didn't lose a custy over it - all understood and were happy that i found a safer way to clean windows.

would wfp upstairs and trad downstairs not keep yours custies happy, aswell as you being a lot safer? You know what, I never used to be overly worried about going up a ladder until i went on this forum

I will bet you a fiver you won’t lose more than a couple of customers if you change over to wfp.
I did it years ago when no one had even heard about wfp and only lost a couple.
Providing you give them plenty of information and are confident they will trust your judgement, After all you are meant to be the professional not them ;)
