hi there

you need either a p45 or they will need to complete a p46.

ideally you want them to sign a zero hours contract.

if they are european then you need to ensure they are from eu area, therefore right to work, if not then work permits etc/

regards

Martin could you expand a little bit more on zero hours contracts? I will need tho use these when it's coming up to summer and we are really busy.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You don't necessary need  zero hour contracts. Are temps working fixed/agreed hours. When you provide them with a contract it will need to be in writing how long you will be employing them for

Carry out the same procedures as if they were permanent staff, don't forget medical questiuonaire, references etc

Also make sure you have Temp Staff cover with your insurance.
