Hi Which part of Utopia are you located, I'm in the south Regards Hotsteam
-
west sussex
-
u give them the prices for jobs, they go knocking and say get u a grand work of work u pay them 2 grands,
this is rough as some charge 3 times the value of the job
-
im in the wrong game
anyone want any done in sussex!!!
seriously though---does it work
-
can do, if u can canvess, canvess for your self and make the money
a lot of got a bad rep, for ripping people off saying custy wanted it doing when they didnt and pricing really crap

Where in west sussex are you
-

-
lyminster---between littlehampton and arundel
are you round here rwc

I paid 2 times plus fuel per day.
They go round saying anything they can and agree to anything to get a custys details.
They charge you 1 times if the customer only has one clean.
They don't turn up and leave you without work
You can turn up at a job then be told they didn't even want a window cleaner.
Apparently they are not all like this though.
My advice... Ring the customers prior to handing over money.
You need to find out the price on the sheet is the price agreed and that they want monthly / 2 monthly / whatever agreed.
-
sounds like the only guarantees are the canvassers get their money
anyone had good experiences or service
-
the best thing to do is canvess ur self, plus your confidence grows with each yes
-
few people recommended roundbuilders (i think it was) when i first come on here last year. He used to come on,but got kicked off for promoting his company i think. Bought my 400 litre tank off him, yet never met.
-
its finding the time
had a good response from leafleting but with doing other things its hard
was thinking of taking someone on to leaflet and knock
but finding someone trustful
-
i find that when i put leaflets out go knocking on a sat after collecting, i done 1 hours knocking the other week and got 9 in the middle of the after noon, a lot of people are in, in the day/week
-
ey may be worth doing a sat or sunday myself talking to a fella today from a sandwich shop gave some scroat 150 to deliver 5000 menus --was given them back 3 days later the bin man found them dropped in a recycling unit still packaged
-
all u got so say,
hi sorry to bother you we are atarting a window cleaning round, would u be intrested,
yes great price etc,
no, ok thanks any way, heres a flyer if u every need us
-
cheers for help
i know its a bit different but knocking does work round here
had a couple of pikeys knock on the door a few days back had lawmower etc on the back of truck cutting grass hedges trees etc done a hedge for me 10 quid bargain he even cleared it all up in 3 one ton bags then dumped it over the park behind me--i think its called recycling
gave the 2 lads a cuppa while they were doing it
got on to the subject of how much earn etc
very cagey but he pulled out a wad of tenners and added my crisp note to it
on drinking up his mate said they have a bad day if they dont clear 500
im not sure what tax bracket that put them in
canvassing clearly worked for them
-
Never used an canversing company at all not even when i first started as i do those thing myself and nower days when i get calls i fit them in before i go home at the end of the day as i dont finish work until 5pm. I f you need to canvas do it either a spare hour or two each evening or at the weekends....you only get out what you put in any business so why not try and make time and take some else with you so you do one side of the street and they do the other side.
-
I simply knock , with a smile and politely ask if they have a window cleaner, showing them the leaflet,
I get a yes, or no.
-
its half term soon, take the week of work and go knocking, u will get a lot of people in
